Our Accelerated English Groups are designed to help students leap forward by providing a strong holistic basis of high school English, helping them grow confident in analytical expressions, critical thinking and developing an authorial voice which are essential for senior school. Our Accelerated English Group consists of 2 hour weekly tutorials, and support for weighted school English assessments and examinations.

These are the skills required to excel in senior high school English. Building these skills from an earlier stage enables students to transition into senior high school English, and become familiarised with the analytical writing style required to excel in English.
We recognise that the transition from primary school content to high school can be quite overwhelming.
This is especially because exams and assessments for English are vastly different from primary school. The tutors are here to guide students through the transitions and help with feedback for unfamiliar assessment tasks they receive. Students can come to the tutors with their school English assignments or upcoming in-class exams, and the tutors give students targeted feedback and advice for their written drafts to help them achieve their best.

Students study a variety of texts from an array of literary genres and media. Going beyond the analysis skills they have learnt at school, our specialist tutors provide students with the best mastery of textual analysis in all areas of literature.
All Scholardome students actively re-enrolled in our Accelerated English Groups will have access to one complimentary lesson during each holiday which totals up to 4 complimentary weeks of 2-hour lessons throughout the year. These complimentary lessons are to encourage consistent and continuous learning throughout the holidays for all our students.
